Welcome to my Photo Gallery!

Soon after retirement, I wondered about the house cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.  I figured I hadn't cleaned windows, cabinets and closets out since we moved into our home in 1994.  Junk had been piling up everywhere.  It was time to get things in order.  Salvation Army, Goodwill and garage salers made off like bandits.  I swear we got rid of 3 semi-truck loads of "stuff."  Okay, I decided the house was finally feng shui.  Then, I looked outside in our yard.

The second year of retirement, I focused on our yard.  It's amazing how work got in to way of household chores.  Down came trees.  Bushes who had never seen a set of shears were chopped and manicured.  Grass that was more dandilions than grass was fertilized, watered, and mowed. Yeah, the outside was looking good!

Third year of retirement, we cleaned the garage and found we had two more vehicles than we thought we had.  Wow, what a surprise.

Okay....fourth year now and I'm super bored with life.  What to do!!!!  Aha!  I'm going to learn more about photography.  I'm going to get out and see the world through a camera lens.  I'm going to take lots of photos and perfect my hobby.  I borrowed (actually stole) my husband's old Nikon camera body (D200) and "borrowed" his camera lenses when he wasn't paying attention.  I really enjoy this hobby and I hope you like the photos and video I have been taking over the past few years.

ENJOY!
